The State Benefits Advisor is an advocate for all service members and their families seeking veteran assistance. The State Benefits Advisor has detailed knowledge of the many programs and services offered to veterans and a working knowledge of processes necessary to utilize these offerings. SBA’s also works closely with County Veteran Service Offices. There is a County Veteran Service Office in all 88 counties in the state of Ohio. These county veteran service offices can initiate claims for service members seeking assistance through the VA and also may have funds available for financial assistance.
