Todd Turner (center), a health care sergeant with Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 155th Chemical Battalion, Ohio Army National Guard, is instructed on proper bandaging of a wound during a medical training course Feb. 3, 2016, at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. The training was being conducted at the Pennsylvania Army National Guard’s 166th Regiment (Regional Training Institute) Medical Battalion Training Site, one of only two such facilities in the nation that offers realistic battlefield simulation training for medical tasks.

A room at Ronald McDonald House, across from Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, was dedicated Feb. 24, 2016, in honor of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Emanuel Kidd, who died of cancer in January 2015. Members of Ohio Army National Guard Warrant Officer Candidate School Class 15-0001 raised more than $2,000 to sponsor a room in memory of Chief Kidd, who died of cancer in January 2015. Ronald McDonald House Charities provide low-cost or free housing to families of seriously ill children while they are in the hospital.
