THIS POSITION IS BEING ANNOUNCED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE MERIT PROMOTION PROCEDURES AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. WEARING OF THE APPROPRIATE ARMY/AIR UNIFORM IS REQUIRED WHILE EMPLOYED IN THIS POSITION. THIS MAY BE A DEVELOPMENTAL POSITION. PROMOTION IS NOT GUARANTEED, NOR IS THE PROMISE OF PROMOTION IMPLIED. PERMANENT CHANGE OF DUTY STATION (PCS) FUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. DUE TO MANNING RESTRICTIONS, THIS POSITION WILL BE FILLED WHEN MANNING AND FUNDING BECOME AVAILABLE.
DUTIES: This position is located in the ARNG, HQ STARC, Director of Logistics (DOL), Logistics Management Office. Its purpose is to develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: (GS-11) - 36 months experience in which the applicant demonstrated the following:
1. Experience which reflects an applicant’s ability to plan, review, revise, and oversee supply programs.
2. Experience which demonstrates the ability to develop, interpret, and advise others on the overall supply function.
3. Extensive administrative, regulatory, or other work which enables the conduct and analysis of surveys and studies related to supply work.
4. Experience which demonstrated progressive knowledge and ability to manage overall programs for supply operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): (GS-11)
1. Ability to develop plans, programs, and policies related to supply programs.
2. Ability to interpret and explain supply regulations and procedures.
3. Knowledge of administrative, regulatory requirements related to conducting surveys and studies.
4. Skill in determining supply costs, planning and budgeting, and evaluating supply management performance.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION: NOTE: College Transcripts are required if you wish to use Education as a substitution for experience or if a degree is a requirement for the position. An copy of the transcript must be submitted with the Job Application. Education must be directly related to the field of work. Study successfully completed in a college, university, technical or vocational school may be substituted for experience at the rate of one year of study (30 semester hours or 20 classroom hours of instruction per week for 6 months of experience). Maximum credit is 6 months of specialized experience.

Experience will be evaluated based on relevance to the position for which the application is made and whether it is full-time or part-time. Individuals not reflecting experience and/or educational requirements, will be found disqualified and not eligible for interview.
