2 Guard members prepare for new service overseas

Military vehicles belonging to 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany, are ferried over the Mosoni-Duna River during a rehearsal river crossing July 4, 2017, in Hungary. The movement was part of the Szentes Axe exercise that included the State Partnership Program partners Ohio National Guard and Hungarian Defence Forces. Two Ohio National Guard members recently were selected as the new bilateral affairs officers to represent the organization at the U.S. embassies in Serbia and Hungary later this year.  | READ STORY

178th Security Forces defenders brave cold to keep base safe

A member of the 178th Wing Security Forces shovels snow at the Springfield Air National Guard Base during the weekend of Jan. 12-13, 2019, in Springfield, Ohio. Between 2 to 4 inches of snow hit Ohio during the first winter storm of the season, with approximately 5-10 inches more of snow predicted for the following weekend.

Gen. John C. Harris, Jr. is sworn in as the 83rd Adjutant General of Ohio by Gov.
