Top Hungarian military enlisted leader
visits Ohio National Guard Soldiers, Airmen

COLUMBUS, Ohio (09/21/15) — Hungarian army Command Sgt. Maj. István Kriston, the senior enlisted leader in the Hungarian Defence Forces, came to Ohio in September, meeting with Soldiers and Airmen at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base as well as attending the Ohio Army National Guard’s 2015 Army Leader Conference at Defense Supply Center Columbus. Kriston was in Ohio as part of the State Partnership Program, which pairs U.S. state National Guards with foreign countries’ militaries to improve capability and international cooperation. The Ohio National Guard has been partnered with Hungary since 1993.
