Ohio assistant adjutant general for Air promoted to major general

Brig. Gen. David B. Johnson, Ohio assistant adjutant general for Air, was promoted to major general during a ceremony at the Maj. Gen. Robert S. Beightler Armory in Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 8, 2025. In his position, Johnson is responsible for directing operations and ensuring the mission readiness of more than 4,700 Ohio Air National Guard personnel assigned to four wings and multiple geographically separated units.

2024 Leadership Symposium unites
Ohio Air National Guard

The 2024 Ohio Air National Guard Leadership Symposium took place in September at Camp Perry Joint Training Center in Port Clinton, Ohio, drawing more than 110 noncommissioned officers and company grade officers from all wings and geographically separated units for three days of intensive professional development and readiness training.
