Home for the Holidays: 123rd ACS returns from deployment

Nearly 300 Airmen assigned to the 123rd Air Control Squadron and their families gathered for a homecoming ceremony at the University of Cincinnati’s Muntz Hall in Cincinnati, Dec. 7, 2025. The Airmen had just returned from a six-month deployment supporting U.S. Air Forces Central Command.

Ohio ARNG opens Maj. Gen. Robert W. Teater Readiness Center

The Ohio Army National Guard conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Maj. Gen W. Robert W. Teater Readiness Center at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 6, 2025. The new $16.7 million, 43,000-square-foot facility provides a larger, modern, consolidated facility for multiple Ohio Army National Guard units and is memorialized for Teater, a nearly 60-year resident of Columbus and Franklin County who served more than 30 years in the Army and Ohio National Guard.

Soldiers of the 324th Military Police Company were welcomed home from their overseas deployment by family and friends at Redemption Christian Tabernacle in Tipp City, Ohio, Nov. 29, 2025. While deployed, the 324th was tasked with providing law enforcement support to partner forces in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

Ohio Air National Guard conducts state command chief change of authority ceremony

Chief Master Sgt. Edward N. Taylor III took the reins as Ohio Air National Guard command chief master sergeant during a change of authority ceremony at the Maj. Gen. Robert S. Beightler Armory in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 7, 2025. Taylor, who became the 13th Ohio ANG command chief, assumed responsibility from the retiring Chief Master Sgt. Troy R. Taylor.

Ohio National Guard leaders celebrate achievements with Hungarian, Serbian partners

An Ohio National Guard delegation conducted a weeklong visit to Hungary and Serbia in the fall of 2025, as part of the State Partnership Program. The annual capstone highlighted previous accomplishments but also outlined future objectives that support mutual strategic objectives, training readiness and interoperability.
