3 Ohio ARNG members are recent Ranger Course graduates
Three Ohio National Guard Soldiers completed the 62-day U.S. Army Ranger Course in 2025, earning the right to wear a Ranger qualification tab, a symbol of their highly capable, resilient and adaptive leadership. Grant Blumenthal, all with the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, discuss their experiences and the benefits of attending the Ranger Course as Ohio Army National Guard members.

324th Military Police Company returns from deployment
Soldiers of the 324th Military Police Company were welcomed home from their overseas deployment by family and friends at Redemption Christian Tabernacle in Tipp City, Ohio, Nov. 29, 2025. While deployed, the 324th was tasked with providing law enforcement support to partner forces in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

Ohio ARNG opens Maj. Gen. Robert W. Teater Readiness Center
The Ohio Army National Guard conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Maj. Gen W. Robert W. Teater Readiness Center at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 6, 2025. The new $16.7 million, 43,000-square-foot facility provides a larger, modern, consolidated facility for multiple Ohio Army National Guard units and is memorialized for Teater, a nearly 60-year resident of Columbus and Franklin County who served more than 30 years in the Army and Ohio National Guard.

The quintessential Citizen-Soldier: Hough's life of service to Ohio, nation
Benson W. Hough was a man who served his community, state and nation in a variety of military and civilian roles, having a natural-born aptitude for leadership. His military career spanned four decades, including serving as adjutant general in 1915-16 and commanding the 166th Infantry in World War I. A multisport star in college, Hough earned a law degree and had a successful career that included time on the Ohio Supreme Court and as a federal district court judge.

Soldiers from the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team discuss the role of the armor branch and how they enable decisive action on the battlefield with Ohio Army National Guard tank crew members, cavalry scouts and Bradley crew members. The armor branch plays a key role in shaping the battlefield by providing mobile firepower, protecting friendly forces and enabling freedom of movement for the entire formation.

Soldiers assigned to 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade perform a final systems check on a FIM-92 Stinger missile in preparation for a Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise (CALFEX) during BRIGHT STAR 25 at Mohamed Naguib Military Base, Egypt, Sept. 9, 2025. Exercise BRIGHT STAR 25 was a multilateral U.S. Central Command field training and command post exercise and senior leader seminar, held in the Egypt along with over 40 additional partner nations with the goal of strengthening military-to-military relationships and enhancing regional security between U.S. forces and partner nations in the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
