1486th Transportation Company Welcome Home Ceremony
The 1486th Transportation Company, located in Mansfield, Ohio, was responsible for planning, synchronizing and executing tactical supply, sustainment and transportation operations throughout Regional Command South in Afghanistan. The 1486th was replaced after its yearlong deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom by another Ohio Army National Guard unit — the 1487th Transportation Company out of Piqua, Ohio — which is currently performing its mission overseas.
