COLUMBUS, Ohio (12/11/15) —The Ohio National Guard welcomed home about 40 Soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Task Force Luzon, during a ceremony at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade deployed as Task Force Luzon to the National Capital Region (NCR), providing supervisory oversight to the homeland defense mission as part of Operation Noble Eagle. Their efforts to protect the NCR included the use of radar, ground-based air defense systems and communications equipment. This was the 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade’s third rotation to the NCR in support of the homeland defense mission.
