Aviation battalion returns from overseas deployment

COLUMBUS, Ohio (12/21/15) — About 70 Soldiers from the Ohio Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 137th Aviation Regiment were welcomed back from their yearlong deployment to Kuwait. Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor and senior Ohio National Guard leadership greeted the Soldiers as they arrived at Port Columbus International Airport. While deployed, the 1-137th provided aviation support and conducted partnership operations with regional countries.
