Ohio State honors service members, veterans during
annual military appreciation football game

COLUMBUS, Ohio (11/07/2015) — The Ohio State University honored U.S. military service members and veterans during its annual military appreciation football game at Ohio Stadium. Ohio National Guard Soldiers and Airmen were involved in a variety of activities, including spreading a large American flag across the field before the game. Staff Sgt. Paul Busick, a member of the 945th Engineer Company and a Purple Heart recipient, led Ohio State onto the field before its clash with Minnesota, a 28-14 Buckeyes victory. Maj. Gen. Mark E. Bartman, Ohio adjutant general, administered the oath of enlistment to a group of new Soldiers and Airmen on the field between the third and fourth quarters. |
