Taking Matters into Their Own Hands:
Ohio National Guard Family jumps into action when Hurricane Maria hits Puerto Rico

By Bill Pierce
Have you ever heard the terms “the Military is Family” or “the Guard is Family?” The Berio family of Central Ohio is the epitome of a Military Family, with more than 88 years of combined service in the Ohio National Guard and a total of more than 100 years in service to their country. So it should be no surprise that when a natural disaster hits close to home, even if that home is over 1,700 miles away, they go into what is known as “military mode” and immediately do whatever they can to help each other. | READ MORE
