The new digital magazine focuses on recent partnership activities, including major exercises hosted by our State Partners Hungary and the Republic of Serbia. The newest video show takes a closer look at OC3, where the Ohio National Guard is bringing together more than 100 public and private entities together to take an innovative approach at strengthening cybersecurity in the state.

GuardCare is an annual event conducted by the Ohio National Guard, working in partnership with the Ohio Department of Health and local health agencies, to provide free health care for Ohio residents. Through the event in London, in Madison County, and a similar one Aug 12-13 at the Union County Health Department in Marysville, medical services were delivered to more than 530 people this year.

National Guard Airmen work with Soldiers from Company C, 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment during medevac training as part of Northern Strike '17, Aug. 8, 2017, at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center in Alpena, Mich. Northern Strike '17 was a National Guard Bureau-sponsored exercise uniting about 5,000 service members from 13 states and five coalition countries at the Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center and Alpena CRTC.

Both units were constituted on Aug. 29, 1917, as Headquarters, 62nd Field Artillery Brigade, which was an element of the 37th Division.

Soldiers head toward two CH-47 Chinook helicopters to transport personnel, equipment and supplies in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The Ohio National Guard has answered the call for assistance from the state of Texas through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC). Fourteen Soldiers and two CH-47 Chinook helicopters from the Buckeye State are in Texas, ready to transport personnel, equipment and supplies in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Airmen with the 178th Wing are supporting Hurricane Harvey relief efforts by analyzing airborne and commercial satellite imagery remotely from the wing's home station in Springfield, Ohio. The 178th Wing currently has seven Airmen involved in the mission, providing information to a liaison officer located in Austin, Texas.
