Welcome to the Ohio Army National Guard Active Guard Program!

The objective of the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program is to provide highly qualified Soldiers to meet the full-time support requirements for Ohio National Guard units, projects and programs. AGR Soldiers assist units in preparing training, managing supply and conducting administrative support to provide ready units to respond, when called to execute federal, state and community missions. AGR assignments are career programs offering opportunities that encourage retention through promotion, pay and benefits, professional development and assignments to positions of increased responsibility.
