1ST BATTALION, 148TH INFANTRY REGIMENT: Soldiers provide cover-by-fire to other infantrymen during a training exercise. Infantrymen capture, destroy and deter enemy forces, assist in reconnaissance and help mobilize troops and weaponry to support the mission as the ground combat force.

COMPANY B, 3RD BATTALION, 238TH AVIATION REGIMENT: A CH-47 Chinook conducts a sling load of a heavy drop pallet in a muddy drop zone. CH-47 crews operate a versatile, tandem-rotor heavy-lift used for troop transport, artillery placement and battlefield resupply.

1ST BATTALION, 174TH AIR DEFENSE ARTILLERY REGIMENT: An Avenger Air Defense System fires a Stinger missile. Avenger crew members prepare, operate and fire the Avenger portable surface-to-air missile system designed to provide protection against cruise missiles and low-flying aircraft.

OHIO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD TRAINING CENTER, CAMP PERRY: Ohio National Guard members fire down range during The Adjutant General's 2024 Combat Rifle and Pistol Championship at Camp Perry Joint Training Center. The Army National Guard provides infantry, armor, artillery, engineering, transportation, water purification, air defense, cyber, logistics, administrative, medical support and command personnel who have the training and equipment to perform its federal warfighting mission, as well as its state mission to support local authorities during domestic emergencies.
