The Ohio National Guard hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 29, 2011, for the United States Property & Fiscal Office's new warehouse, located at the Defense Supply Center Columbus, part of an $8.1 million project that took 19 months to complete.
The new warehouse encompasses more than 69,800 square feet, is situated on about 7 acres, and replaces an old facility in Newark. The warehouse will serve as the receiving and distribution point for all federal property for the Ohio National Guard and the central issuing facility where Soldiers receive clothing and other personal equipment. |
