One hundred Soldiers from the Ohio Army National Guard's Recruit Sustainment Program competed in the 2012 Warrior Challenge, April 28-29. The Warrior Challenge is an extremely demanding experience for the OHARNG's newest warriors and provides an assessment of how mentally and physically prepared they are to complete basic training successfully. Now in its fifth year, the two-day event — with day one at Camp Sherman Joint Training Center in Chillicothe, Ohio and day two at the Boy Scouts of America's Camp Lazarus in Delaware, Ohio — continues to be a highlight of the recruits' training experience, with each of the OHARNG's 10 regional RSP companies sending two teams of five individuals to compete.
