Cincinnati Reds honor Army's 239th birthday

Brig. Gen. John C. Harris Jr., Ohio assistant adjutant general for Army, conducts a ceremonial oath of enlistment for 50 future Soldiers
June 11, 2014, at Great American Ball Park, as part of the pregame activities for the Cincinnati Reds Army Appreciation Game to celebrate the Army's 239th birthday. Following the enlistment ceremony, Sgt. Maj. of the Army Raymond F. Chandler III, the most senior enlisted member of the Army, threw out the first pitch of the game prior to the Reds going on to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0.
