KETTERING, Ohio – Soldiers along with family, special guests and senior leaders from the Ohio Army National Guard, filled the Kettering armory March 21 to witness the change of responsibility ceremony for the 371st Sustainment Brigade.

The ceremony introduced Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Barga to the position. Barga will be the brigade’s second command sergeant major.

Barga fills the shoes of Command Sgt. Maj. William Myers, a 25-year veteran. Myers received the Meritorious Service Medal for his honored service.

Barga said his main goal during his tenure as command sergeant major is to ensure every Soldier has another Soldier as a role model during their military career.
