180th Fighter Wing Celebrates Cultural Diversity
Master Sgt. Serena Dedes, an equipment manager at the 180th Fighter Wing, holds a traditional feather flag used during pow wows along with water vase handmade by her mother. Pow wows are Native American ceremonies involving feasting, singing and dancing. November is dedicated to honoring Native American Indian Heritage and celebrating the uniqueness that diverse service members bring to the U.S. military.
