The Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program (ONGSP) covers 100% of tuition charges for courses applicable to, or leading to, an associate or bachelor’s degree, a diploma-granting nursing program, or approved trade certification, credential-certifying, or licensing programs at participating public colleges and universities (100% of the state public college average tuition rate at private colleges and universities).

National Guard Technicians are employees of The Adjutant General for Ohio as authorized by the National Guard Technician Act of 1968 (32 USC 709, Public Law 90-486) with the primary mission of providing day-to-day continuity in the operation and training of Army National Guard units before, during and after mobilization.
